Version 2.0 of P2Soft HD from Opencube Technologies is designed to simplify ingest and management of SD and HD MXF P2 files. P2Soft HD can automatically launch and begin ingest as soon as a P2 card is inserted into the drive. A preview function allows for content viewing before ingest is complete.
It detects production systems and alerts media asset management systems to update the database. P2Soft HD also optimizes metadata management, both metadata recorded to the P2 card and added during viewing.
