Klein + Hummel – Ready to Rumble!

German speaker-maker Klein + Hummel has brought two new subwoofers to the NAB Show. Distributed by the Sennheiser Group in the U.S., Klein + Hummel now offers the O 810 and O 870 digital powered subwoofers.
Aimed at providing low-end definition to surround-sound multichannel monitoring, both subs feature 7.1 Channel High-Definition Bass Manager for managing up to eight inputs/outputs. The digital front end consists of 24-bit/192 kHz converters. The driver for both models is a 10-inch woofer with the O 810 having one and the O 870 carrying two. A 60W amp powers the O 810 and a 320W powers the O 870. Both boxes include magnetic shielding along with an onboard calibration signal generator, volume control and four LFE modes.
