Gepco V-CON Aims at Harsh Environments

Seeking to tame the harsh conditions that cables and connectors can sometimes find themselves in, Gepco delivers the new V-CON connector system. V-CON is a family of multichannel HD connector elements including connectors, breakout boxes and distribution racks.
V-CON connectors utilize all-metal bodies, locking set screws, integrated cord grips in a weatherproof package. Connection points are corrosion-resistant gold-plate. Three- to 16-channel versions are available in the cables. Breakout boxes use a heavy-gauge aluminum construction. The distribution racks are scalable up to 160 channels.
Applications for the V-CON series include OB trucks, remote facilities, junction boxes, outdoor staging and broadcast events.
