Cine-tal Systems Acquires cineSpace

Cine-tal Systems, developer of the Cinemage system for monitoring digital acquisition, post-production and digital intermediate (DI), announced at its press conference Sunday the acquisition of Rising Sun Research’s cineSpace color management technology.
Planning to integrate cineSpace with its own display management software, currently in development, Cine-tal intends to offer a more comprehensive solution for color management and display management.
The combined technologies of Cine-tal and cineSpace will, according to CEO Rob Carroll, allow users to ensure consistency of image quality as content passes through several color space requirements.
