Prism Sound Acquires SADiE

~ April 15, 2008

Prism Sound has acquired SADiE, manufacturer of PC-based digital audio workstation products.

Best known for its high-end A/D and D/A converters for mastering, tracking and post production, Prism plans to retain the SADiE brand name.

“SADiE has always insisted on the highest standards of engineering and this is reflected in the quality of its product range and the tremendous loyalty of its customers,” said Graham Boswell,” Prism Sound director.

Prism negotiated the deal after SADiE had gone into administration in February. Prism said it’s a nice fit for both companies, as the quality, fidelity and performance of their respective products remains high. Prism and SADiE both maintain high-quality R&D and engineering heritages and recognizable brand recognition throughout the broadcast and pro audio industries.

Existing SADiE customers will have full access to product support, with Prism’s first goal being to place existing SADiE products on a secure business and financial footing.
