DK-Technologies Offers Monitor Tools

Monitoring and measuring solutions are an arcane science to most broadcasters. But they are important to the operation of any broadcast entity. To provide the industry with pertinent solutions DK-Technologies has new products.
PTO760 is a multiple monitor unit capable of handling up to four HD/SD waveform monitor screens at one time. Information displayable includes G, R, B, Y, Cb, Cr and luminance measurements. It also includes an internal video test signal generator (SD, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, color, color bar, black, SDI checkfield, monitor alignment). It can also measure up to 32 channels of audio and utilize DK’s JellyFish and StarFish display schemes. The compact unit has programmable function buttons and a jog wheel.
Many show producers, broadcasters and post-production houses operate both CRT and (increasingly) LCD monitors. The differing technologies require different calibration methods. DK-Technologies seeks to bridge the gap by making its PM5639 color analyzer available with both a CRT probe and an LCD probe I the PM5639 CRT/LCD Kit.
