Band Pro Shows Latest Sony Cameras

Band Pro Film & Digital, a leading equipment reseller and distributor, caused quite a stir at last year’s show when it unveiled three new Sony products: the upgraded “R” version of the HD workhorse CineAlta premiere HDW-F900 HDCAM camcorder, the smaller-package PMW-EX1 and the CineAlta F23. This year, they showcase four more Sony cameras, including the F35 with its 35mm-sized CCD, the PDW-700 XDCAM HD, the HVR-7ZU HDV with interchangeable lenses, and the HVRS270U HDV camera. In addition, Band Pro will demo an array of support products, including a 0.5 diopter for Zeiss Digiprime lenses, the Codex Portable digital recorder, new eCinema LCD monitors and Cine-tal Cinemage monitor, Myth Telescoping camera crane, Technopoint pan and tilt heads, and new Zeiss DigiPrime lenses. Band Pro is also participating in a Sony cosponsored trade-in deal in which customers who previously purchased the F23 will be able to trade that model in for credit toward an F35.
