Digieffects Debuts Damage Plug-ins

Digieffects is shipping Damage, a set of plug-ins for video and film post-production professionals. Damage is a collection of four effects (Blockade, Artifact, Interference and Skew) that creates a variety of digital and/or analog defects, errors and artifacts in video footage. It supports Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Autodesk Combustion and Boris RED.
Blockade makes video look like it is highly compressed and being transmitted through a highly bandwidth-limited pipe. It simulates Internet-based micro cam displays or personal video communication. Developed to create digital defects, Artifact simulates lost DCT blocks and frame dropping. Interference creates the look of interlaced video fields, even on progressive footage or still images, adding noise, colorization and offset separately for each field. Skew creates uniquely analog/broadcast image artifacts including noise, image shearing and ghosting.
